To Blog is to Learn

A blog is a tool. A space for you to write on. A thinking pad of sorts.

One can choose to write on topics to reflect one’s personal experiences. One can also enjoy an engaging discourse on universal topics on a blog. The possibilities are indeed limitless. In short, a blog can help ignite purposeful research and facilitate life-long learning.

With learning comes wisdom - the insightful and common-sense application of the knowledge gained. Wisdom will spawn tolerance, practical response and love for humanity and the world around us.

What is learning?

Learning is the process of gaining knowledge and skills. Learning - through study, instruction, practice and experience helps develop desirable behavior. Learning equals cognitive change.

What is Reflection?

Reflection is the process by which one eradicates uncertainty and misunderstanding through carefully thinking over a subject under study or review.

What is Meditation?

Meditation is the method utilized to gain direct insight into a subject under study through the application of that knowledge in one’s personal experience.

I think this is a fair opening - without much fanfare. It’s now time to lift off.
