A Bond girl is a character or the actress portraying a love interest or sex object of James Bond. They typically have names that are double entendres. Most Bond girls are gorgeous and absolutely stunning. If they had played bimbo roles in the few earlier Bond movies, they were no longer bimbos in the following ones. Bond girls are now given more depth of character and play highly intelligent roles as villains, other agents and professionals. In fact, they can equal Bond.
