Since mid-December, it have been scaling heights and volume that we have not seen for a really long time. What gives?

Foreign interests especially from the Middle-east have virtually swamped the Singapore Stock Exchange and rumours are that BSKL is just getting the overflow. Heard they have left the staid US Treasury bonds for the more exuberant market of the exotic
There is talk of a golden bull run yet to be seen in these parts. At what point will the tipping point be reached before this bull run ends its upswing? Will the foreign fund stay or will be up and go like a tropical typhoon? Also, how much will the market pull back this time around?

Assuming the foreign funds stay awhile and there are no external shocks, our market should continue its run possibly because many companies will be announcing better annual results or neo-blue chip companies promising better dividend policies Likely corporate mergers and take-overs such as the RHB bidding war is making the market pulsate with excitement and fervour. Then, there is that exogenous factor-the impending General Elections. Is the BSKL play-up a prelude to that? How active is Khazanah in the market? Your guess is as good as mine.
